New multi-year business affiliation features physical and digital co-branding, preseason, and game day special features, presenting partner of Chiefs 360, and annual veteran roof giveaway program.
Today, TAMKO Building Products LLC announces it is the official roofing partner of the Kansas City Chiefs. This multi-year agreement combines two winning brands to benefit fans of both great football and great roofing.
Kansas City Chiefs fans, visitors, and viewers will see new TAMKO signage and activations at Chiefs games in GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, as well as special co-branded digital content online. TAMKO will also have an activation presence at Chiefs’ tailgating events and the club’s annual training camps. Based on both organizations’ shared history of support for military veterans, TAMKO and the Chiefs will partner together for Operation Rooftop, an annual roof giveaway to benefit Kansas City-area veterans.
“The Kansas City Chiefs are an American favorite and TAMKO is ‘America’s Shingle’, so this was the opportunity to align ourselves with a brand that is headquartered in the heartland, has top tier talent, and a long history of supporting our communities and service men and women, just like TAMKO does,” said TAMKO Vice President of Sales & Marketing Alex Hines.
TAMKO is celebrating its 80th year in business in 2024, with a long history of American manufacturing and private family ownership. Founded in the heartland of the country, TAMKO is an acronym that represents the original projected sales area of the company: Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. Since 1944, TAMKO has grown to a nationwide company, one of the largest manufacturers of asphalt shingles in the U.S., with manufacturing and distribution facilities across the country to serve all of the company’s loyal customers. And the company continues to be headquartered in Missouri and Kansas, the heart of Chiefs Kingdom.
“TAMKO is a national company that got its start serving people in the heart of Chiefs Kingdom eight decades ago, and we proudly celebrate their Midwest roots,” said Chiefs President Mark Donovan. “We pride ourselves on partnering with like-minded organizations and know the synergies that exist between our two organizations, especially around supporting our military. We look forward to welcoming TAMKO to the Chiefs family.”
