As a member of ARCA since 1981, Morgan has served the organization in various capacities.
Arizona Roofing Contractors Association (ARCA) recently presented its prestigious distinction of Lifetime Member to Scott Morgan, the residential/commercial territory manager in Phoenix, Arizona for TAMKO Building Products, Inc. According to ARCA, less than a dozen members have received this award in the 49 years of its charter.
As a member of ARCA since 1981, Morgan has served the organization in various capacities including as the meetings and seminar committee chairman for 11 years, on its Board of Directors for more than decade, and for the past 19 years, he has served on ARCA’s charity committee, New Pathways for Youth, where he was also chairman for four years.
“Scott has, and continues to be, an example of professionalism in our industry,” said Rhonda LaNue, current president of ARCA who is also executive vice president of Lyons Roofing in Phoenix, Arizona. She continued, “Always fair, always willing to lend a hand and has a habit of creating ‘friends’ in addition to business associates, Scott is also a great mentor to others in our industry and could not be more deserving of the Lifetime Membership he was awarded this year.”
According to LaNue, ARCA Lifetime Member distinction is provided solely with Board of Directors approval. “This honor is bestowed only to those individuals who have served the ARCA in extraordinary ways; someone who has maintained an active presence in the participation of ARCA events, committees, and has exhibited the highest level of respect for the association, its members and for the ARCA Code of Conduct.”
Southwest District Sales Manager for TAMKO, Bill Kubinski, said, “For more than 20 years, Scott has represented TAMKO with integrity. His prominent involvement with ARCA for his more than 30 years of service to that organization has been beneficial for all parties. I am extremely proud that he was acknowledged with this award.”
Morgan joined TAMKO in 1995. He has a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University in General Business. In addition to his ARCA service, he is a brother in the Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity.
ARCA presented Morgan with the Lifetime Member award during its annual convention, which was held in October at the Casino del Sol in Tucson, Arizona.
