Honesty. Integrity. Trust.

We are all in this together.

Safety is our top priority as we navigate the global coronavirus outbreak together

We hope you are all safe and well in this moment, keeping the health of yourself and your loved ones as a top priority.

For weeks now, we have been closely monitoring and evaluating the situation around coronavirus (COVID-19) and taking the necessary business precautions to protect the health and safety of our employees, customers and their families. This includes continued communication with our employees, customers and vendors about the spread of coronavirus, the CDC’s latest recommendations, and TAMKO’s proactive response to this quickly changing situation.

The TAMKO Team has a long history of adaptation and crisis preparedness and will draw from our experience to adapt and move forward while we proactively manage through the coronavirus pandemic. We’re thankful first and foremost to our employees, customers, and suppliers for their continued support. We’re also thankful for our partner investor Carlyle Global Partners's (CGP) support, broad knowledge, and extensive portfolio resources as we work to overcome this challenge facing us all.

We have policies to protect the safety of our employees, customers, vendors, and their families. These include:

  • Suspension of all business travel and implementing self-quarantine procedures for employees.
  • Rescheduling or postponing all customer gatherings, including TAMKO’s product ambassador Rick The Roofer®.
  • A no visitor policy, hand-washing requirements, and social distancing in place at all facilities.
  • Postponing or moving vendor and customer meetings, and TAMKO intracompany meetings to electronic format.
  • Cross-docking procedures at all facilities to limit interactions.
  • A dedicated internet site for employee news updates to provide quick access to information.
  • Implementing work from home wherever possible to protect our employees and the communities at large.

If it’s not safe, don’t do it.

TAMKO boasts an award-winning Zero Incident Safety Culture (ZISC) with a motto of, “If it’s not safe, don’t do it.” Safety is considered a top priority at TAMKO, and we believe the steps we have taken are necessary to protect the health and safety of our TAMKO employees, customers, vendors and their families, as well as those in our community.

We Are Strong Together

We all look forward to getting through this crisis together safely.
