VERSA-BASE features a TAMKO fiberglass mat coated on both sides with SBS-modified asphalt and is ideal for use as a base ply in select TAMKO specifications or as a high-performance alternative to TAMKO Glass-Base® or Type 43 Coated Base Sheet.

A lightly-modified SBS fiberglass base sheet, BASE-N-PLY is used as a base ply over nailable decks and eliminates wrinkling that can occur with typical fiberglass base sheets.

Awaplan Versa-Smooth is part of the TAMKO Awaplan line of SBS-modified products and is designed for applications that demand superior performance. It is a smooth-surfaced version of Awaplan 170 with added SBS-modified asphalt back coating for torching applications and a 180-gram polyester mat.

Reinforced with a 180g/m² non-woven polyester mat saturated with asphalt and coated on both sides with SBS-modified-asphalt and surfaced with a mineral parting agent. It is used as the base ply in 2-ply modified-system specifications 204 and 204 FR, and as a smooth-surfaced modified membrane in Series 1300 specifications.
